Elizabeth Leavitt of Stratham was born on December 31, 1715. Elizabeth married 23 Oct 1740, Benjamin Cotton, who was baptized in the South Church, Portsmouth, New Hampshire 21 Dec 1718. He was a farmer in Stratham. Elizabeth died about 1760.

Benjamin purchased land in Nottingham, NH in 1764, and may have moved soon after with his three youngest children to Bow, NH.
